- Battery Always Running Low: 1993 FD

 If your 1993 RX7's battery always seems to be running low, don't be too quick to change the alternator (Bosch p/n AL4213X) or battery.  Instead, spend a little quality time examining the glove box light and you might find that it is staying on causing the battery to run down.  To cure this condition, Mazda has issued a revised glove box lamp cover (p/n FD01 64 170A) which only requires the removal and installation of two screws and will ensure that the glove box light only goes on when the glove box is open.
