hey me again. lol umm new to the forums and just trying to spark some convo and what not so i thought i would ask something. now i am 18 years old. i dont know a WHOLE lot about cars but i get around definitely. now my question is about turbo. i have a stock '85 GSL-SE. except the exhuast. i have no idea what was put on there but i looked and its in a different path than the origional and only has one cat onverter. where as stock has three...now, what are the procedures of putting turbo on the 13b re-egi engine? would it be better to do a TII swap of everything? idk a lot about this stuff i also dont know what series my car is... 3? i dont know excuse me if i sound ignorant...

it would probably be safer to go the turbo II route, thats what im doing and i am going to upgrade the turbo and front mount the intercooler, turboing a n/a engine will be expensive also, a good turbo kit can run a pretty penny, almost as much or more than a turbo II motor and tranny.

This will not be the answer that you want to hear, but the best route is for you to leave the car stock and just learn more about it. There is a lot to learn before you tackle a turbo 2 swap.
